Yalumba GEN Organic Pinot Grigio 2022

 

Part of Yalumba's new GEN Organic range, it is much like its Sauvignon Blanc sibling - there isn't much to bang on about here. Thin without wow factor but it will please those who enjoy simple wines.

Sure there is the expected poached pear, a rub of white stone fruit, some green apple and cinnamon spices to close, but it just seems to skim the surface. Track down the Chardonnay or Viognier I'd say.
