Wow! Just wow. A supreme Chardonnay with all the I's dotted and T's crossed. The precision and consistency of this Levantine Hill release demands a place in my Top 5 Australian Chardonnays.
All the bells and whistles have been thrown at this stunning expression of the variety. Think creamy, butterscotch, vanilla, wafers and flaky pastry. Unmistakable whiffs of flint make their mark too. Barbecued peach, old school lemonade and Jersey caramel peel off veneers of interest as they urge another sip. The focus, concentration and delicacy are something else and then there is that length. All things that are brilliant about Chardonnay can be found here. Bravo!
