A reliable and rock solid Shiraz with generous depth and concentration. It urges you to go deep calling for fire pit chats and camping expeditions.
It opens with cedary oak and scents of rum and raisin. Firm and spicy initially, there is a warm that chimes in. Zema Estate wines express wonderful savoury influences in their wines and this is no different. If you're seeking a relatively inexpensive wine to cellar this will mature nicely over the medium term. For now, I'm thinking Pichana rumps over the coals and this in the glass.
