Dry, herby, savoury driven, it's just ace. Sure black currants and blackberries do their thing but it's the savoury core that drives this all the way to the pleasure zone. Think roasted peppers, pizza sauce, tomato bush, black olives and cured meats - the depth and interest here keeps unfurling. It's a wine that just feels good without pretentiousness as it draws out to a sustained finish. Give it a decant for now to see its best self with some air under its wings or hold - you choose. Great stuff!
