Good gear loaded with juicy black fruits.
Spiced berries and some Christmas cake, a rub of earth and a sprinkle of dried herbs do their thing. Straight up and down, what you see is what you get. It's one of those wines that falls into the reliable category. I suspect some medium-term aging will mesh things together that little bit more.
