Dense, it has a warmth and delivers an abrasive edge that softens with time. Plums and drunken cherries plus some Cherry Ripe appeal, some tense Chinese five spice wriggles forward. An earthy wine with charcoal and flashes of caramel, it makes me wish I had some beef ribs on hand. Good stuff.
