Barossa Boy Little Tacker GSM 2018

This is my first look at these Barossa Boy wines and the consistency across the range is what stands out. Well made with plenty of personality, this GSM is a blend that you can faithfully keep going back to time and again.

It evolves wonderfully building a moreish presence as it softens and delivers a gracious evenhandedness. There are some really good GSMs around and this is one of them. Dense and deep, dark chocolate and earth are never far away from the action. Raspberry fruit is laced with fine spices. Some boysenberry and blueberries muster up the courage to rise up later along with some pan juices and char. Interest swerves and weaves about with absolute ease. Firm dusty and black tea tannins imprint on the mid-palate with delicate sheets of exotic spice running long into the night. A classic barbecue wine, sit back, give it a good decant and you'll be grinning from ear to ear.
