A blend of Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer (55/27/18), this blend is incredibly food friendly. Pretty scents and some textural pleasure, there is something here for everyone.
The Gewurztraminer portion was barrel fermented, and despite only bringing 18% to the table, it certainly makes its presence felt. Beautiful scents of lavender and rose water diffuse from the glass. Pears, white stonefruit and cut green apple muse. Textured and wonderfully weighted, there are tonic-like feels through the mouth with sprinkles of ginger-like spice that tickle a long and most enjoyable finish. Smart buying for $25, add this to the 'lunchtime wine' list.
