An apricot fest from the get-go, think fresh apricots and canned apricot nectar. A fabulous drive and presence adorn the mid-palate that tightens a little. Mascarpone, almonds, ginger nut biscuits all put their shoulder to the wheel. That delicate ginger and cinnamon spice stays the course and builds some wonderful momentum. If you enjoy Chardonnays with some give, it's worth throwing your hat in the ring and having a shot at this. Well priced, it's a very good drink - if you give Viognier a chance.
