Big, rich and dense, there is a whole lot of love in this Chapel Hill Block Shiraz.
A wine with some heft, this is generous and then some. Awash with Christmas cake delights, brooding plums, blackberries and dark cherries, the is no mistaking the heft on show. Sweetish cedar comes courtesy of the oak with old gold chocolate and chocolate brownie mingling with cloves and handfuls of baking spice wrapping themselves around a persistent finish. Decant to enjoy now but this will age comfortably over the long term. Lovers of big reds will be very much at home here.
