Svelte and polished, this Oakridge Vineyard Series Hazeldene Pinot Noir is an excellent drink. It's a wine that would take it to many others that are twice the price.
Made with 30% whole bunches, it saw large format French oak for 10 months.
Loaded with an abundance of red cherries and strawberries, a pretty dried petal aroma draws you closer. There is just enough depth and density to encourage you to dig further with cola, compost and earthy things driving the savoury profile. Drying out ever so slowly, fine powdery tannins have the last word. Yep, it's an excellent wine.
Drink to eight years.
