A lovely Cabernet, this release from Knappstein moves about with ease. The mid-palate is drenched with fruit, and such is its approachability, it is an easy recommend.
Loaded with dark plums, blackcurrants and blackberries, choc mint, dried herbs and leather penetrate through to a drying and moreish length. The shape and that little bit of glossy appeal take this a step further. Powdery tannins linger and persuade you to come back for more. Gee it's good drinking, particularly for the asking price. A bag of chips by the fire pit will do just fine.
Drink to eight years.
