DAOSA Natural Reserve 7th Release NV

 

The seventh release of the DAOSA Natural Reserve comes mostly from the 2022 vintage (85%) with the balance from 2021 and 2021. This is an impressive sparkling and much better than those mass produced French Champagnes at the same price point.

A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier (57/35/8), striking aromas spill from the glass highlighted by citrus blossom, white field flowers, green olives and mandarin peel. The mouth is awash with green apples, cut pear and white strawberries. A fine minerality runs through the core with the flicker of nougat and raw cashews adding further interest. Cleansing acidity whips through with lemon juice and a sherbety tang with talc feels urging you back for more. Great stuff!
