From sustainably farmed vines planted in 1999 with their roots deep in the Blewitt Springs sand comes this impressive Shiraz from Larnook.
Glossy in appearance, this is a super dry Shiraz that draws moisture from the mouth. Pan juices and bone broth tuck in behind dark plums, cherry compote red berries and blackberries. Licorice, dark chocolate plus dried thyme and marjoram play neat supporting roles as fine sheets of powdery tannins coat the palate on close and cling to a lengthy finish. The structure and tannins will carry this for many years to come. A big tick from me.
