From the cool climes of the Macedon Ranges comes this killer Rosé from Lyons Will that is sure to put the chillax into your afternoon wind down.
Handpicked from the estate vineyard perched 510 metres above, this is a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay (50/50) and it sees seasoned French oak for four months.
Bone dry with a fabulous melange of fruit and savoury appeal, it kicks off with a composed red apple, rhubarb, white cherry and white raspberry before it shifts gear to layered flavour profile of strawberries and cream, freeze-dried raspberry, fennel, dried herbs and a hint of olive leaf. A minerally vibe keeps the rhythm with a long tail highlighted by red apple skin and red apple crunch. It's such a great drink and deserves large pours.
