This Golden Grove Estate Rosé is such a great slurp. It has been that way for some time now due to the effort invested into the making. This is bandwagon material and once you are on, you may never get off.
Onion skin in appearance, this is a blend of Shiraz, Sangiovese, Grenache and Vermentino, throw your arms open to white cherries, red currants, red cherries and watermelon husk kicking off with rhubarb and apricot kernel sliding in underneath. Components of free run juice and barrel fermentation play their part in delivering a mighty wine with a devilishly moreish creamy backbone with a neat textural appeal. Delicately spiced to close, it is long and moreish. Made for enjoying with casual meals, this is an all year round delight but it may not make it that far due to its delish factor and the fact that it sells out super fast.
