The Shiraz brings structure, depth and complexity, while Grenache delivers pretty aromas and juicy, vibrant fruit.
Blueberries, raspberries and baked strawberries tumble along gracefully across the palate, layered with dark chocolate and sheets of exotic spice, including a lick of star anise. Black tea brings a savoury edge, while the voluptuous tannins draw out to a persistent finish.
I looked at this over several days and it just kept building. There’s generosity, complexity and enough structure to make you slow down and take notice, yet it remains ridiculously easy to drink. It's just ace. A terrific blend and seriously good drinking, well played Tony Ingle and team.
