Made with 60% whole bunches and seeing time in large format older oak, I kicked back with Luke Lambert at his winery recently as we chewed the fat and shared a couple of glasses. The delicate touch here is impressive.
Purple flower aromas whisk you away - so expressive and so engaging. Juicy blueberries and mulberries are slick and deadly smooth with pan juices riding on their coat tails. Soft white pepper spices lace the edges with a persistent and moreish finish. It's a smart wine hands down. The 'sold out' sign is up at the winery but it's still available in retail land.
