This is a really good drink. Keaton means where the hawks fly, so the back label tells me. Produced on the south coast of NSW, it was great to see this new label come across the Qwine tasting bench.
Although I know little else about the brand nor the source of the fruit (the bottle and website don't state the latter), this is great lunchtime drinking. You'll be grinning with this in the glass.
Clean and crisp, a little spice curls around the mouth. Custard apple, handfuls of pears and some white stone fruit plus pretty white flower scents, it's a well-balanced wine that oozes crowd-pleasing appeal yet there is a flicker of sophistication. The quality and the price point are spot on. Pinot Grigio really well done - tick!
