Yelland and Papps Single Vineyard Vermentino 2021

Considered with its game face on, interest comes in buckets - it's the Yelland & Papps way. This is a fantastic take on Vermentino. Take me to Sardinia and feed me all the seafood.

The lemony tang and zip found within call for it. Dig around a little more and find a faint dash of mandarin peel. Scents of sea spray gain some momentum with time in the glass. Fleshy with a rounded body, this is not the clean and crisp style you may expect due to some time on skins. This is all generosity with biscuity nuances and a river stone minerality closing things out with soft ginger and cinnamon spices. Long lunch material is probably the most succinct description you need. Fill my glass, please.
