What a ripper we have here. Not yet in peak form, you won't be disappointed having a glass or three (as I did) but patience will yield even greater results.
Celebrating the 175th anniversary of the vineyard, this is quite something. I feel quite regal drinking Riesling from a green bottle such as this. More of that please - bring it back people.
Sizzling fruit moves with great energy yet there is a precision and focus that is hard to miss. A little steely, the minerally drive has my attention. Green apples and lemons set the scene with pretty white flowers and a bath salt perfume. It finishes long with a citrusy tang and cleansing acidity. A superb Riesling.
