From the Clare Valley sub-region of Sevenhill comes this tidy Pinot Gris made by Keeda Zilm.
There are a lot of Riesling things going on here and that's not entirely surprising given that the Clare is a Riesling hotspot. It's minerally with attractive scents of bath powder and some mouth perfume to lure you in. Cut pear and poached pears plus a squeeze of lemon juice, it finishes with some underripe green apple tartness. All up, it's a great sundowner.
