Great colour! A Syrah Marsanne blend, the vibrance of the hue is eye-catching. It's a smart wine capturing two not so common bedfellows.
Whole bunch savoury aromas skip from the glass - they're hard to miss. A dollop of Marsanne (5% juice added at fermentation) adds a fabulous breadth to the wine. Softly spiced, there is a meatiness and grip that I find intriguing. Mulberries and plums make way for a shimmer of blueberries that surge late - yes! Great drinking, this is quality gear if you like something a little left of centre.
