Wonderfully fragrant, this Tempranillo from Paisley Wines has some get up and go. Just add pizza or pasta for maximum enjoyment.
Dried red petals, a little blackcurrant leaf, red plums, mulberries and a flash of blueberries dance for fun. It hits the mouth and seizes up. Quite linear, that tension is enticing in its own right. Some meatiness comes with the territory as does an array of exotic spices. Red apples with a lemony acidity come late as those spices clutch to a long finish. Good gear.
Drink to three years.
