Brash Higgins Ripple 2022

We're in peak barbecue season people and a bottle of this Brash Higgins Ripple under your wing is a recipe for sheer happiness. What a beauty! It's joyous. It's juicy. It's a riot of fun.

This is the third release of the Ripple and it's had a little makeover, or more accurately, a role reversal.

Previous vintages have seen whole bunch Cabernet Sauvignon flooded with Nero juice to undergo carbonic maceration. This 2022 is whole bunch Nero flooded with Cabernet juice.

The result is a wine bursting with energy and flair. Captivating aromas of petals and dried purple flower perfume get you in the mood. Juicy raspberries, baked raspberries and a handful of blueberries consume the mouth. There is even a flash of grape bubblegum. It's all party suit on with he dancing shoes laced up. Alive and energised, it skips about. Velvety tannins cruise through. Silky smooth, blackberries courtesy of the Cabernet rush late. A wine that will take a chill, this screams for summer and autumn smash factor. Bring it!

Drink to five years.
