Dense and dark, a brooding medium-bodied Hilltops No. 1 Shiraz from Gundog Estate.
Loaded with plums, chocolate tart, dark cherries, and sarsaparilla aim up nicely too. A wine that delivers great width through the mouth, ripples of spice roll along with ease. Black pepper arrives on the scene late and brings some meatiness with it. A long and moreish wine that is well done - the consistency you can expect from winemaker Matt Burton.
Drink to eight years.
