I'm here for the texture. Coating the mouth with splendour, this is a great Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay from Crittenden Estate.
Flinty and complex, a terrific texture seduces and rides through the mouth. Delicate creaminess, figs and roasted cashews, lithe caramel sneaks into the frame and moves towards Jersey caramel territory. Firm mid-palate, let it sit in the glass and it grows. To see it at its best, be sure to serve it at the right temperature. Smart gear.
