Loaded with dense dark fruit, dark chocolate and chocolate brownie plus a host of spices, think fruit bun spices and Christmas cake spices, this 2020 release is in a great place. The previous 2019 vintage was weighed down with heavy oak but things are back to where they should be. Mouthfilling, it rolls on and on with a long and luscious persistence.
A wine ready to go now but it shows better with a long decant and it will age comfortably. I'd happily recommend this to those who enjoy the generosity of a Barossa Shiraz.
