Quite a different wine to its Shiraz sibling, I much preferred the structure and feel of this Cabernet. It's a quality wine for the money, that's for sure.
Tasted on the back of Ben Chapman's ute, or mobile tasting room if you will, hearing the winemaker's passion first-hand was excellent. Made with a blend of Barossa and Eden Valley fruit, this is silky with pillows of softness scattered through the mouth. Black fruits dominate with a little licorice and dark chocolate. Fine touches of spice and a ribbon of cedar run through the core. Quality is definitely the buzz word.
