For $22.50 this is superb value. Decant and reap the reward. What a beauty! Don't for a second think Coonawarra is a one trick pony because there are some excellent parcels of Shiraz about the place ready for you to dive into. Blackbook this Redman release.
Not shy of interest, blueberries and dark plums spill from the glass with shades of blackberry pastilles loitering in the background. Give it some air and bacon hock and pan juices add some meatiness and savoury appeal. An array of exotic and baking spices are rippled through the mouth reaching long on what seems a never-ending finish.
A fabulous drink, it screams value for the asking price. It's a wine that will pay dividends with time in the cellar - Redman wines have a track record for that.
