This is the fourth release of the Max and Me Syrah. Made from Eden Valley fruit, it's a wonderfully silky wine that slides down with ease.
Picked a little earlier with an alcohol of 12.2%, you wouldn't know it given its medium-bodied weight. Made with 30% whole bunches, the savoury drive from this is telling. Gently handled, it is a delicately spiced wine with Campari and cured meat highlights. Dense on the mid-palate, time in the glass saw this shine further more. It's smart gear, hands down.
