The Sweetwater Shiraz from Thomas Wines can be relied upon to deliver prettiness and sexy factor and this 2021 is no different. Delicious as ever, it's a ripper.
Bright blue fruits are driven by juicy red cherries and some raspberry coulis to set the scene. Pretty aromas of violets add splendour. Lacy dark chocolate and a measured earthiness take a back seat yet roll through the mouth offering waves of persistent pleasure. Soft sheets of exotic spice move and sway about freely adding further detail. It's such an enjoyable and free and easy wine. You can't help but to be captivated by its charismatic charm. A terrific length is capped off by measured acidity that will frame medium term aging. Well played here Mr Thomas.
