Parker Coonawarra Estate 95 Block 2020

Like 'em with a bit of muscle? Check this Cabernet and Petit Verdot (91/9) blend from Parker Coonawarra Estate. It reeks of the region from the get-go and is a smart wine for those with patience.

From 25 year old vines, it sees 40 days on skins and 19 months in barrel (50% new French oak)

The heft can't be missed. Decant for a few hours or leave for a few years and you'll be rewarded. Tasted over a few days, black fruits and choc-mint play a strong game. A herbaceousness and cigar box character is interwoven throughout with some Moroccan-like spices gaining momentum. The oak plays its hand with some cedar and sandalwood showing good form. Youthful but it will grow into its shoes beautifully in the years to come.

Drink to eight years+
