It's a little leaner than the Warboys but it still carries a punch. From Clarendon where the vineyard sits 305 metres above, it spent 18 months in French oak.
Dark fruits stain the mouth. There is a measured generosity that pulls you closer. Smoked meats and chorizo ride on the back of blackberries and dark cherry fruit. Baking and meat rub spices are woven throughout and are glued to a long and engaging finish. Some tannin chew urges another sip and it's hard to ignore. A stunning wine that will age gracefully
