The first Fiano release from the new NSE Wines label.
The whole family is immersed in the brand with each block named after a member of the family - a nice touch. This T Block Fiano is named after wife and mother Taylor.
Some fair aromas of lemon juice, green melon and lemon zest but that's where the action seems to die off. Fiano for me is about textural interest and this shows some green tea tannin to fulfil that role, but I was hanging for more detail. A veil of spice skirts the palate with the mid-palate disjointed from the acid line. Perhaps time will see them mesh together a little more?
Drink now.
