A savoury and earthy Pinot Noir that lands a little flat. Not where it's been previously, I felt the follow through just isn't there.
Dark cherries, dried leaves, twigs and dried herbs are the main players. The fruit thins out with the savoury characters carrying it on its shoulders. Warming woodsy and exotic spices have the last word. If anything, I walked away scratching my head given the quality this label is known to produce.
Drink to five years.
