It starts off tense with dark cherries, blackberries and baked blueberries leading the way. Relaxing its grip, raspberries and raspberry rope chime in later adding flesh to the mid-palate. A landslide of tannin rushes late and consumes the mouth with some dried thyme. Drying and puckering, ragu, pizza, this has casual meals covers. A big thumbs up.
