What a great drink! Quality Chardonnay as ever from Flametree Wines. Winemaker Cliff Royle and his team rarely miss the mark and here we go again.
With a delightful shape and length, it sees nine months in French oak. The oak is well handled adding subtilty. Vanilla, silky buttercream and brioche are woven through attractive stonefruit and grapefruit highlights. Lemon juice and Jersey caramel ride atop a finely textured palate leading to a persistent and engaging finish. Great stuff. Give me another glass thanks.
