Grenache comes in many forms and this release from Ben Murray Wines is a grippy and robust style.
Dried red flowers, dark berries, baked raspberries, cured meat and char make a neat introduction. There is enough weight to make its presence known with an array of exotic and baking spices rippling their way about. Sandy and dusty tannins coat the palate as that blanket of spice hitches a ride and just hums. All up, it's a casual barbecue or burger night wine.
Drink to five years.
