The same vintage as the Estate release but the better fruit parcels find themselves a home here. I've walked the vines at Huntington Estate and the vine age of these blocks is impressive.
There is more polish and detail with this Special Reserve. An elevated heir of grace you could say. The Estate Cabernet is humming but this just shows its class. Astute barrel selection has certainly played its hand. Lacy blackberries and blackcurrants demonstrate their prestige with lengthy notes of black earth, black olive, olive tapenade and some tar. Drying and stylish, this is beautiful expression of Cabernet.
