Something a little different for the texture hounds out there, this Ben Murray Wines Sapidity is a skin contact blend of Vermentino and Verdicchio.
It has a little fluorescent glow in the glass and the skin contact brings a composure about its carry. It smells of citrus flowers, marigold flowers, lemon rind, lemon jelly with a fine whisper of honey puffs.
The aroma profile flows neatly to the mouth with the interest stretched to each corner. A Mediterranean tonic feel is brushed atop the palate. Canned pear flesh things out and a superfine ginger spice and lemony zip tack themselves onto an elongated finish. This is great stuff and it's very nicely done.
