Biscay Road Riesling 2025

The first release from the 2025 vintage has hit the Qwine tasting bench and it also happens to be the first Riesling produced by Biscay Road. Adding to the quality wines in the range, this is a welcome addition.

Machine harvested and cold pressed, the pressings were separated from the free run juice and fermented at 16 degrees for two weeks before being fined and filtered prior to bottling.

Green apples, pie apple and lemon sorbet make the first impression with a fine lemony drive. The scents of Jasmine flowers make themselves known with a zippy acidity that frames the palate. A drizzle of honey arrives late with a chalky texture riding out a respectable close. It's good stuff.

Drink now.
