I like this. A great representation of McLaren Vale Shiraz, this Chapel Hill MV develops impressively in the glass.
The fruit and oak speak the same language and are well balanced. The usual suspects of dark berries and some red fruit show some energy with good depth. Dark chocolate and five spice chase them down in hot pursuit. Those spices reach long and deliver a moreishness on a respectable length. A very tidy wine indeed.
Drink to eight years.
