A Grenache with some depth, the fruit and spices mingle with ease delivering a wine with an attractive presence and flow.
Dark fruits, berry compote and ripples of spice are the highlights. A scattering of dried herbs comes late but the spice rolls over the top keeping it in check. The persistent length with dusty and slippery tannins brings a moreishness with it. Sunsets with a handful of beef jerky or a casual barbecue will do the job just fine.
Drink to five years.
