Great to see some carbonic maceration used with this Shiraz. Some dislike it. Some think it is a fad. Some couldn't care less. I think it imparts some vitality.
Tasted at the cellar door, I wish I could have sat on this a bit longer, it was going somewhere. A wine with an inviting lift, baked raspberries, fine exotic spice and black pepper are the main players. The pepper drives long and the wine itself has good structure and presence. It would be better suited with food I feel given the dark fruit presence. Burger night would do the trick well. Give it a decant and things will blossom further.
