From a cool and wet vintage, the colour and concentration grab you from the outset. Just wow. Great acidity and the consistency through the palate are most impressive. It is a wine that is supple and silky. It's structure smashes the brief and at 13.5% alc, you get a lot more than you'd expect. Blackberries, savoury dried herbs with a Black Forest cake feature large. Dark, brooding and incredibly moreish, give me it all. Go here.
