A stand and deliver type, this is a solid Shiraz from Cooks Lot that does the job well without the bells and whistles.
Scents of smoked meats and chorizo have me hankering for a barbecue meal. Dark cherries and red plums saturate the core with lashings of cool climate white pepper for good measure. Delightfully medium-bodied, I detect a hint of granite-like minerality too. All up, it's nicely done.
