Divinely silky, this is an impressive Pinot from Curly Flat.
Red fruit driven, raspberries and red cherries walk hand in hand with crushed rose petals. A gentle sheen captures the eye - that fruit is the real hero of this wine. Twigs, tilled earth, mushroom compost and truffles bring the savoury appeal as subtle oak plays a neat supporting role. It's a wine possessing a moreish flow, but some tension holds the reins ensuring its full potential will be ready to unleash in time. A few more years in bottle will only enhance its presence. For now, give it a good decant to coax out those layers of beauty.
