Abundant raspberry and cherry fruit greet you on opening with a litany of savoury delights. Think twigs, black earth, pine needles, black tea, tea tree and cured meat. The depth of the red fruit builds a neat momentum reaching all corners. There is still some tension evident as it firms up on the mid-palate as it is shrouded in a blanket of cuddly warmth and soft spices. I suspect some more bottle age will see this develop further.
