This is only the second release of this superb Central Otago Pinot Noir. Perched on the hill at the cellar door, you can see out to the vineyard, a stone's throw away.
Silky tannins and gorgeous fruit are the highlights here. All elements are perfectly pitched. Attractive scents of red and purple flowers are coupled with red berries that soften beautifully through the mouth, almost melting away. Some tension is evident which speaks of a long future ahead. Delicate savoury spices hum on a long and most memorable finish. Wow.
